The dry season in Ghana is best for wildlife viewing and the season is best for lakes, waterfalls, and rivers viewing. There are public holidays on Christmas and Easter that offers huge events here.

Ghana experiences a typical tropical climate. Climate is almost always hot and the seasons are there either wet or dry. Highlands and the coastal line have more humidity in the temperature and it gets drier as one goes deeper.

Ghana is a dusty place with rain and the Harmattan winds being other significant factors affecting weather here.

Two rainy seasons are from April until June and during September and October.

Harmattan is dry winds that flow from the Sahara desert in late December and continue until early February.
